Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) Domain
Domain Description
NIDDK and AHRQ convened the Type 2 Diabetes Technical Expert Panel (TEP) to identify data elements important to the care of people with type 2 diabetes in the context of multiple chronic conditions. In addition, the Type 2 Diabetes TEP will help identify data standards from common clinical terminologies (i.e., ICD-10, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, RxNorm, CPT) associated with each data element, in order to improve interoperability of these data elements across settings of care.
